Wanted to take a minute for two travel tips:
1) I’ve taken to a fairly monochrome wardrobe for travel; it makes it easier to mix and match clothes for a longer trip. Mostly cream and brown. 🙂
2) I got a new suitcase; brand It (thanks to Nnedi Okorafor for the rec!). I’ve never owned a hard side suitcase before; I didn’t realize that the new ones are actually lighter than comparable fabric suitcases due to the materials used in construction. (Which feels like magic.) And this one comes with a nice zipper divider between the sides, which my carry-ons haven’t had before. I can pack more in it than my previous fabric suitcases, and it ends up weighing about the same, or less. Win!
