Getting a little low on stock on the botanical jewelry, so made some more. Steps: pour resin, place botanicals, cure, pour more resin, cure, flip over, cure, peel from tape backing, snip and sand any excess resin, remove any residue (right now, I’m doing a two-step sequence, with Goo Gone and hot water, which seems to work pretty well).
Steps to come: add jump rings and necklace chains, final polish, add to backing card, add to inventory, take to shop, print price labels, add price labels.
Total time, not counting time to collect and press flowers (which happened a while ago, so I have no idea): maybe 5-6 hours to make 26 necklaces, start to finish?
I’m working in the shop this Sunday 10-3, so they’ll be there by then, if I don’t stop by earlier, which I might.
