New bookstore! The Pile Bookstore is just a few minutes’ drive from me, at Roosevelt (on the Berwyn side of the street), just east of Harlem.
I stopped in yesterday, and it’s super-cute — I had a yummy cheese danish and chatted for a while with the bookstore clerk. A great new spot to hang out and work, I think — I have to get an essay finished this weekend, and I think I may fuel myself with coffee and danishes from this place.
The front space has board games to play there, if you’d like, and would be a great place to just hang out with some friends, or host a small knitting circle. Excited. 🙂
And it’s likely they’ll be co-sponsoring an event for me with Kinslahger — we’re still working out the details, but we’ll likely have it at Kinslahger, so we can have kitchen access and food, and The Pile will come and sell books for me. Yay!
