They added some decals to the windows at Sprout, which I’m hopeful will help passersby realize what we are. I quite like the logos across the top: shop local, 30+ unique vendors, homemade gifts (although I might’ve said handmade), shop small, artisanal goods. That window on the far right is mine, and I’m happy to have ‘artisanal goods’ on top of it!
I’m less enthused by the graphic decals — I see what they were going for, but the one on my window does obscure my display shelf. Still, at least I got a book, which is certainly appropriate!
The bag on the next window, where I’ve been doing window displays, maybe a little challenging to work with, but I think I can design around it. Maybe. We’ll see.
I’m less pleased with the jam jar on the far left — we’re not allowed to carry any food, so that seems a little misleading. I’d like them to replace that with something we do carry in the store — candles would be perfect, since that window is the one for a handmade candle business.
Oh, maybe I’m being too picky, I don’t know. But first impressions are important!
