One of the best parts of having the little shop is that it gives me a good reason to learn new things. I’ve been making lots of earrings the last few months, but this was the first time I made stud earrings. Which is not hard — I used E6000 glue to attach the backs, waited for it to cure, no big deal — but it’s new, and every time I’m doing something new, it’s a tiny bit intimidating. So having the shop helps me get over that hump. 🙂 I see more studs in my future…
I didn’t manage to get those trees done in time for Christmas, oh well! I’ll be pulling all the Christmas-themed stuff from the physical store this week and asking Eliana to list it in my online shop — maybe some people buy ahead? WAY ahead? Or maybe they just like wearing little blue-teal trees with gold leaf even though it’s not Christmas. That’s good too!
Now the only question is whether I want to keep a set of the stars for myself — SF-nal! Eventually my entire wardrobe will be composed of stars, dragons, and trees.
