Question — would anyone be interested in a little January talk / demo about some craft things you can do with pressed flowers? I’ve been thinking about offering one, and still figuring out the details of what I can do at the store, but I think I can demo a few things:
- how to press flowers (and other plants) by various methods
- how to store your pressed flowers
- how to make laminated paper and pressed flower bookmarks
- possibly how to make pressed flower candles (if they’ll let me light a candle for the melted wax)
- possibly how to make pressed flower resin jewelry and bookmarks, if they’re okay with me demo-ing a little UV resin in the store (mainly an issue for ventilation, but I think it’s no stronger than what nail salons use, so should be fine?)
This would be held at Berwyn Sprout, sometime in January. If you’d be interested, it’d also help to know if you’d prefer:
- weekday morning
- weekday afternoon
- weekday evening
- weekend morning
- weekend afternoon
Nothing would start before 10 a.m. 
I’m thinking this would be a free talk, but with registration requested, and you’d get a flower bookmark to take away with you. It’d be held at Berwyn’s Sprout, in Cermak Plaza (22nd and Harlem).
