The Common Mallow Pressed Beautifully

This morning, before I abruptly remembered that I had a lunch meeting all the way down in Hyde Park and ran out the door, I emptied my flower press, filled it again, and made some floral candles for this weekend’s upcoming fairs. (While Eliana made dragonfruit chocolate boxes for me. She has discovered the wonders of molds. 🙂 )
I think I’m happiest with the common mallow (far left) — I had no idea it would press so beautifully. The black-and-blue salvia pressed very nicely too!
If I have any left at the end of the weekend, I’ll take them down to the shop on Tuesday.
