A Good Check-In

After dinner on Saturday, Susan, Alex, and I ended up sitting at the capitol for a while, talking about our lives. One of the best parts of WisCon for me is spending time with old friends; it’s a good check-in.

People who have known you 20-30 years have a different angle of vision than local friends who you may have met only a year or two ago. It helps.

Also, the setting was just perfect, so I made Susan let me take some photos of her looking like a politician. I think she should run for office someday — she’d be good at it.
