Garden Log 1/23/23

One of my watering cans, having given long and stalwart service, sadly sprung a leak and was no longer able to fulfill the basic function of watering cans.

And so I went onto the internet and did much research, because I am very tired of watering cans that are too small, or too heavy, or have a bad spout, or are easy to spill, especially when being used by adolescent peoples in our household who tend to leave a trail of water across floors and furniture.

This is what I ended up with, and I’m REALLY happy with it, so quickly sharing that this costs $48, is, I think, a knock-off of a much more expensive classic British brand (the copper version costs in the hundreds), and it fulfills all my criteria: not too small, not too heavy, pours beautifully, not prone to spilling. And even my bonus criteria — lovely to look at.
