I’ll be headed to New Orleans on Thursday for World Fantasy and have barely done any planning — among other things, I haven’t figured out any meals, which seems like a shame since NO is such a great food city!
So please drop your food recommendations below — if any of them are places that you know require reservations to get in, that’d be helpful to know.
I’ve been there once before for a conference, but that must’ve been almost 20 years ago; I did visit Cafe du Monde in the early morning for beignets then, after spending the night wandering the streets with a Hurricane in my hand, visiting one jazz club after another. I’m probably too old and tired to pull that off now; not even going to try. 
Glad I did it once, though…
