We only walked a little of the High Line, because the kids were getting pretty tired — they’re not used to this much walking. But it’s so gorgeous these days; the last time I went, it was when it was first installed, and the plantings were still pretty small and sparse.
It’s much more filled out now, and it’s just such a relief coming up above the noise and chaos of the city to this long oasis of peace. I’m not sure I have the constitution to live in New York, but the High Line would surely help.
