Got to the airport and found flight had just been cancelled so the computer had rebooked us for tomorrow. Figured it couldn’t hurt to ask, so headed to counter, where the nice lady cheerfully rebooked us on a flight just an hour later. Now, why couldn’t you have done that, computer?
So only a little delayed, about to take off. Explained to kids the value of being super-polite and possibly slightly pathetic when asking people to go out of their way to help you…
