Yesterday was actually the first time Kevin has eaten in a restaurant since March 2020!
We didn’t eat inside; the Pelican Inn (near Muir Beach & Muir Woods) has a back area that’s sort of semi-open, and we ended up there. Tastiest dish out of the several I tried: Shepherd’s pie, which Anand devoured, and kind of wanted to get a second order of, even though it was PLENTY of food.
I think Kevin liked his beef stew, which I didn’t try. The bread, made by local Zen Center, I think, was also extremely tasty — worth ordering the bread and butter (only available Thurs – Sun). High tea is currently discontinued, until they fully reopen. They also offer a hearty curry (with tofu or chicken), which is certainly fairly Western-ized, but is also at least a little spicy.
