Bougainvillea decided to put out a few blooms — well, bracts, but they look like blooms, so we’ll go with it — for the first time in years, yay! Don’t know what’s different about this year, but I’ll take it. I can never pick which flower I love best, but if I had to pick one that has the most *significance* to me, it’s probably bougainvillea. If I ever tattoo a flower on my body, it’ll be this one.
What I really would want to do is draw a bougainvillea dragon, and get *that* tattooed, but since odds are I’ll never actually get around to even drawing it, I wouldn’t hold your breath for the tattoo.
