Playing around with alterations on this “Imagine the Possibilities” skirt tonight. I bought it from ModCloth, and I love the colors (and the book pattern, of course). It’s on sale now (40% off $69), but let me warn you that they have limited sizes left — 0, 2, 6, 16, 24W, as of right now. (They also offer the print in a button down shirt and a dress.)
It has pockets! It’s also much longer than I’d want for myself, coming down to mid-calf on 5’0″ me. But it turns out that if I take off 7 inches, which is just enough to make a mask from, that conveniently brings it to exactly the length I like best, just above the knee. Isn’t that nice?
Pictured here just over jeans (sorry for the dimness of that photo, was too lazy to pull out better lighting), because that’s what I’m wearing right now, but I’ll likely wear it with maroon tights and my tall brown boots. Not sure what top yet, maybe something blue? I’ll figure that out, but cozy sweater is high on the list.
