Tried knitting on the porch this afternoon with some local folk, mostly new people to me. It was very relaxing; yarn is a great way to meet new people, because you can always just knit for a while; you don’t have to make constant conversation. I need to keep socializing in my life through the fall and winter of the pandemic — it does bad things to my mental health when I don’t.
I’m thinking maybe knitting on the porch every other week while the weather holds out? I just bought a heater for the porch, to try to extend the season as long as possible…
