I don’t know what that bird is, but it was very pretty with blue wings when it flew. Queen Anne’s lace is perhaps my favorite wildflower, and they had lots of it.
Taught the kids to play a new game, Turbo Drift, which is a silly, quick race your ‘car’ cards around card obstacles. They enjoyed it. Kevin and I also taught them how to play Hearts — soon, we’ll teach them Spades, and then maybe they can graduate to 304…not that I actually ever got that one down, but I can learn it, I’m sure, and make my Sri Lankan ancestors proud…
