Best moment of Mother’s Day so far was actually when I heard Kavi reading to Anand — and then I heard her pause and ask him a reading comprehension question! I came out to see what was going on, and apparently she’d volunteered to help him with his homework, but as Kavi said, “If I’m going to go to the trouble to read to him, I want to be sure he’s actually paying attention.”
I got really lucky with these kids.
