I did my MFA at Mills, in Oakland, CA, and I learned a lot from some wonderful professors and classmates there. It’s a lovely campus; I lived just a few blocks away, and would walk to classes. I’m sad to see the school is closing; I hope the women’s leadership institute they plan to follow it manages to succeed.
