WOOT! Just got back feedback from George on the story that was kicking my butt just before Christmas, that I found SO HARD to write, because it was supposed to be funny, and of a certain flavor, and…
“This story is a delight as well. You really have captured the flavor of P.G. Wodehouse. Lady Sri is a worthy counterpart to Bertie Wooster.”
He had critique too, of course, suggestions for improvement; George always does. I admit, some of his questions, I don’t actually know the answers to because I was so focused on trying to get the flavor of the language right, I kind of lost track of the plot a little bit. But I can fix it in revision. I can fix EVERYTHING in revision…
(Also, I got a sneak peek at one of the upcoming Wild Cards covers that will be featuring one of my characters and it looks SO GOOD, I am beside myself. More on that as soon as I’m allowed…)
