I’m supposed to do a 3 minute presentation at my department colloquium today on my research. (It’s a rapid-fire presentation from several of us.) Which is all well and good, but I am totally waffling about whether to cover the spec lit. stuff or the food stuff, or try to do both. In three minutes!
I’m having these fantasies of putting together a Powerpoint that I can screen share and that will keep me on time and let me whip through a bunch of photos. Maybe I won’t have to talk at all, if I put enough fabulous food photos up?
I really do hope I can figure out a way to do a future of food book at some point, bringing my two main interests together into a convergence. And if I can talk Samin Nosrat into writing something for it, even better.
