You should be proud of me, people — I have, for the first time, actually bothered to swatch something. I was going to try knitting clothes for myself — a tank top — and I wanted it to fit. So, swatching, but I actually don’t know how to adjust this now. Help?
It’s supposed to be 4″ across and 4″ down — it’s 4″ down, but 5″ across. Do I go down a needle size? Do I reduce the number of stitches? (It’s the tank in the picture, so pretty straightforward garter stitch around, with crochet at top and bottom.)
