I was SO tired last night, I almost couldn’t make myself get off the couch. But Maya Puentes was hosting a little get-together for the local women of color FB group, and we hadn’t done one of those in quite a while, and I love that crowd and hadn’t seen a lot of them recently.
So I dragged myself off the couch and headed over — was sort of funny that it was at Forest Park’s Lantern Loft, which I was just at a few nights ago. 
Once there, the energy of the crowd buoyed me enough for a solid hour or so, but I just couldn’t summon the energy to stay out long enough to dance. Another time, hopefully. Was lovely going out, though! Thanks, Maya!
