I got so much done today, but I’d hoped to write fiction too

Sigh. I got so much done today, and I even got to write a little essay and submit it, so I should feel satisfied, but I’d hoped to write fiction too, for the first time in a month, and that’s the one thing I didn’t get to, and I. am. frustrated. I’d stay up and try to write, but my eyes want to close, so hopefully, I can at last fall asleep quickly and then perhaps write in the morning? We’ll see.
