Cancer log 162: Quick note that I have now been thoroughly converted to the utility of Xanax for stressful medical procedures. I've taken it three times now, once for the nipple biopsy, and twice for recent infusions that happen once every three weeks (because my port has shifted, and sometimes the nurses need to poke around a bunch to get access; it is ouchy and stressful). It makes me a little chattier than normal, but I'm not noticing any other side effects. I don't feel any urge to take it at other times; it doesn't seem habit-forming or addictive for me. Just FYI.
