I most definitely like the quarter system better, although my brother, also a faculty member disagrees. Of oucrse his school has quarters and mine has semesters, but I went to grad school under the quarter system. I think my attention span is ten or eleven weeks long.

Sometimes I think we would be better off on the quarter system. Sixteen weeks is long for everyone.
