I'm reading Celerie Kemble's To Your Taste, which is as much memoir as interior design book -- it's fascinating. I like this line of hers: "Don't let a fear of being tacky render you tasteless."

Very apropos to my recent medieval obsession post. :-) Bring on the Gothic arches!
