We're putting in an offer on house #4 on Monday, and hope to hear by Tuesday. It's a Victorian, and that's all I'm going to say about it right now.
If we don't get this one, we're probably going to put the whole concept of house-buying on hiatus, move into a nice rental, and live there until spring, when more houses will come on the market, and the infant will hopefully be sleeping through the night.
We're exhausted.
I’m so sorry, Mary Anne.
I feel so bad for you & Kevin…especially with the baby coming. I can imagine how unsettled you must feel. Some friends of mine went through something similar with their house buying process…they cooled off for a while and now they are in their dream home. It will happen when the stars align. Hang in there! Treat yourselves this weekend…you’ve been through a tough time.

Unbelievable. I really am in shock. You must be exhausted. Do you think it has anything to do with not having a regular realtor? I hope this next one works out.
Very sorry to hear this.
The whole house-buying process has been sounding really awful and totally exhausting for weeks. I’m impressed that y’all have the strength to continue—I don’t think I’d have been able to get this far if it were me.
