The next DesiLit Chicago…

The next DesiLit Chicago planning meeting is this Saturday, 4/12, at 3 p.m. at my place in Wicker Park. DesiLit will order pizza and soda; BYOB. If you can RSVP if attending, that would be very helpful! Write back to me if you need the address.

We'll be discussing the upcoming June events for the Kiran Bavikatte Reading/Workshop Series. Tentatively scheduled: Anthea Senaratne (coming from Sri Lanka), Vivek Narayanan (coming from India), Susham Bedi, Kirin Narayan, Shobhan Bantwal, Boman Desai, Janhavi Acharekar. We'll also continue planning for the next Kriti festival, in April 2009. All who enjoy S. Asian and diaspora literature are welcome to come help us plan and have fun literary / writerly discussions over pizza; no experience necessary!
