So, we're having some Kavi-eating issues. She's been eating about 2-3 jars of baby food a day for the last month or so, but since her bout of flu, she's been emphatically rejecting it. Oh, she'll take a bite or two of pear, her favorite, but that's it. I'm not sure if she's still queasy or otherwise anxious about her food, or if something else is going on. She does still quite eagerly eat her little dried apple wheels and teething biscuits, making me think that we might want to try just giving her more normal solid food. Thoughts?
Anyone heard of this whole baby-led weaning movement? It sounds like we could just start giving her some of whatever we eat (hard stuff cooked a bit in the microwave, easy on the chili powder). That would be simpler in a lot of ways, although possibly messier (see photos of nine-month-old with spaghetti bolognese on their site).
