We're coming up on the deadline (6/30) for the SH workshop manuscripts to come in. Interestingly, there are far more applicants for New Jersey than for Oregon (which is good, since there are lots of SH authors already signed up for Oregon, and few slots for others available). I don't know why NJ is so much more popular -- it may just be a location thing, or it may be the Gavin/Kelly appeal. I'll have to ask the ones who get in.

I haven't looked at the manuscripts at all, btw. My tentative plan is to just read them all on Tuesday (7/1) and make the decision then. Big reading day.
