I managed to get the CS contracts finished, but I'm afraid all my good resolutions about getting all my homework done (homework! when I say that, I suddenly feel like I'm 12 or so) went pfft. I spent a couple of hours on the phone today (with my mom, then Heather), and that was the time allocated to studying (there, that sounds better than homework :-). So it's coming to Chicago with me -- the rest of Said, some essays, and Midnight's Children's (which has the advantage that I've read half of it earlier this summer, and the disadvantage that I couldn't bring myself to pick it up and read the second half...). I also need to read two stories for workshop and do a detailed critique of one of them. Should be do-able, though.
I'm rather tired, but feeling satisfied by what I did get done. All set to collapse now, though. :-) In the morning, I'll write a quick response for class that's due, and do dishes. Think I'm pretty much ready to go after that. All packed and everything.
Sorry I'm being dull. Here -- read Susanna h's great piece on being an erotica mama. That's more fun than stressing about work at you...
