I learned something on the Fine Gardening podcast yesterday, which I just confirmed online — unlike most cut flowers, tulips keep growing in the vase, sometimes up to 6 inches or more! Wacky. Gatherings from the garden today — pink tulips, yellow species tulip sylvestris, purple hyacinth.

Lots of pink and white right now. White plum blossoms, pink redbud blooms, white viburnum snowballs, pink magnolia blossoms, white Thalia daffodils…
