Not everything I do is resin — these are pressed flowers between two sheets of glass, and sell pretty fast in the store. The fothergilla leaves turn color while the pink Fairy roses are still blooming — they’re in two different parts of my garden right now, but don’t they look cheery together?
Also pictured, clockwise from top: Fairy roses on their own, hardy mums, fall crocuses and fothergilla leaves, and a moody composition of wolfsbane / aconite and oak leaf hydrangea.
I feel like I should make whomever buys the wolfsbane one sign a pledge promising that they won’t poison anyone with it. It’s so poisonous that even picking the flowers can turn your fingers numb — and picking a lot of them will likely send you to the hospital.
Will be in the shop on Friday. Still need to glue all these down — they’re just arranged at the moment.
