Gorgeous little orange pumpkin

Gorgeous little orange pumpkin by local glass artist, Maia Stern. She has more pumpkins in her shop, on Oak Park Avenue, near Van Buren! The blue ones are very pretty.

Marble and resin cheeseboard from a local artist — don’t remember her name, alas! Bat candleholder is a Halloween present to myself from Viridian Bay — I like their work too much, so have to be very careful not to overspend. (It’s sold out for the season, sorry!)

Purple swirl resin ghost tray by me. I wasn’t sure how well it’d work, embedding the ghost in the resin, but I think it came out pretty cool! (Does mean it takes up a bit more room for storage, though, and if you’re putting it away in a bin, I’d pack it carefully.)

Tried it out, looks good, will hand wash carefully and then it’ll be available for (slightly used) sale. Will bring it down to the shop on Friday. (The little bats are showing through from the tablecloth, just to be clear; they’re not part of the tray.)

My first prosciutto and cream cheese hand — basically worked, though it’s not the most realistic hand ever! Balsamic spiderweb on brie — this was kind of hard to do, and I think if I did it again, I’d reduce the balsamic so it’s less watery.
