Milkweed bookends. I really wasn’t sure if this would work — I haven’t seen anything like this anywhere, I didn’t know how milkweed fluff would act in the resin, I was afraid it’d just clump up — but no, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Feels like actual art to me. 
I’m afraid I’m going to have to sell this for a fairly high price; it uses a lot of resin to make large, stable bookends. Also, it used up all the milkweed I had leftover from last year, so I can’t make anymore ’til next winter (unless, I guess, some of my neighbors have pods and fluff around still).
Planning to take them to the shop tomorrow, but if you want to buy them, they’re $100 + shipping. Let me know! It’d be a great gift for any eco-warrior book-lovers in your circle.
