Potted on my little tomato seedlings — remember when you replant tomatoes, bury the stems up to the first set of leaves. Tomatoes are wacky — they’ll develop new roots all up the buried stems, making for a bigger, stronger plant.
I have SO many tomatoes. And I ordered more from the Tomato Lady. In my defense, I planted something like 10 of her tomatoes last year, and it wasn’t enough to keep up with my family’s demand for tomatoes. Maybe this year! But I might have to sacrifice some flowers to get enough sun — gah!
Hopefully not; I’m going to try planting some of the cherry tomatoes in the front parkway garden, which bakes in sun. Just need to have pretty supports, so they look appropriately decorative.
Plan to also try some of the smaller varieties in the porch hanging baskets. The key is managing to keep them watered, which is always a challenge for me…well, we’ll see.
