Arteza In Copper and Peach

Tuesday’s autumn-themed polymer clay crafting — this is Arteza in copper and peach, and the end results look like mushroom caps or wood grain. Fun. I’m still finding it challenging to keep the colors from blending more than I want, but I imagine practice will solve that.

(Edit to note: I was just reading about clays, and Arteza is softer than many of the others, so that might be part of the problem — people don’t seem to recommend it for cane work.)

The plan is to add metallic copper accents, and then make these into earrings, but I may save some aside for a mobile project. We’ll see!

The earrings should be in the Sprout shop by Saturday — I’m working a shift from 3-8, so locals, that’s a great time to stop by and say hi. They’re still building up traffic, so I’m expecting that it’ll be quiet and boring a lot of the time — come entertain me! 🙂
