Names and notes on photos. A few phlox and roses lingering, asters, mums, and sedums taking center stage. I never got my dahlias planted this year, alas…
Nasturtium “Cherry Rose Jewel”, edible. (Grown from seed, yay me.)
Garden phlox.
Verbena (annual, in planter).
Mums.
Annual salvia “Wendy’s Wish”.
Sedum and asters.
Asters.
Black and blue salvia, hummingbird magnet. Didn’t realize it got as tall as me, but when you plant it in baking sun in the parkway, apparently sometimes it does.
Common mallow, malva neglecta, also as tall as me.
Asters.
Eglantyne rose.
Rosa “The Fairy”.
Hardy cyclamen hederofolium (plant as bulbs, should come up in fall every year and hopefully spread). I planted at least 5, maybe 25 bulbs, but only 1 came up. But they supposedly live for up to 100 years, so we’ll see…
Foxglove has come back!
Ageratum (annual, but can spread by seed, nice filler).
Asters, opening.
Hollyhocks and Jeane phlox.
