After an hour sitting on the couch, I made myself get up and do the yoga I committed to for the month — except that I decided to try the “Yoga with Adrienne” 30 day program (free with ads on YouTube), and day 0 is five minutes of prep with no actual yoga. So I did 5 minutes of stretching today instead while listening to her talk, and will go jump on the treadmill for exercise today instead. Plus yard work later!
The 30-day program is 45 minutes sessions, and on the one hand, I’m having a little bit of a hard time imagining how I’m going to fit 45 minutes of yoga into my day, every day. On the other hand, I can do it from home, there’s no commuting time, and I suspect starting my day with 45 minutes of yoga will make the rest of the day go better. I’m reserving the option to peace out if it’s not working for me, but want to give it a go. We’ll see!
