Pineapple tomatillos, grown from seed! They look a lot like ground cherries at this stage, but are not the same. Kevin makes the Rick Bayless tomatillo sauce from scratch pretty regularly (he does most of the Mexican and Chinese cooking in this house) — I’m hoping we get enough of a harvest that he can make it with these; I think it’d be amazing.
