Amsonia “Blue Ice”. This one is a little buried in my garden right now, so I need to a) weed heavily, and then see if there’s actually room for this little guy. But it’s in its first year here too — it may take up more room all on its own if I let it be for a while. There’s a saying about planting perennials: first year sleeps, second year creeps, third year leaps!
Sometimes I think the main virtue of the garden for me is teaching me a little patience.
