Here’s another new experiment — this tray table with basket. The tray lifts out, though it’s definitely a bit heavier to do so now that it’s full of resin. 🙂 I mostly wanted to try this for the variety, and to play with this cool white botanical (which I can’t remember the name of, help), and because I can do this table more affordably than most of my others — the original is only $40, so with the added cost of resin, botanicals & my time, I can price this around $100 and be happy with that.

I think if I do another, I’ll use flatter flowers and do a much thinner coat of resin, so the tray stays lighter and the whole surface is usable. But I do love the look of plants protruding from the resin (don’t ask me why, I just love it), so I enjoyed this experiment. Hopefully someone else will too. Should be in the shop on Friday.
