Multiple people have come in today and swooped up a bunch of items, saying they’re about to travel overseas and they need gifts for relatives.
Resin is light, folks, so it makes sense that it’s a good gift to pack into luggage. But not something I’d anticipated. It’s part of the fun of having a shop, learning the different use-cases for what you make. 🙂 It’s also good for people who have trouble holding heavy objects.
But I’m almost cleaned out of trays and tea light holders. Guess I’m pouring more tonight…
I also love the husbands who are silent the whole time their wife and kids are shopping and chatting in the store, and then linger surreptitiously after they leave, so they can sneakily buy something she liked. That’s happened twice this weekend, and it’s just adorable.
One husband even came back the following weekend with his son:
“Which one did she like?”
“I think it was this one. Or maybe this one. It might’ve been this one?”
“We’d better get all three, to be safe.”
I like the way you think, man.
