Quick note that I’ll be at the Forest Park Library from 12-2 today, talking about breast cancer: early detection, treatment, things I wish I’d known before my diagnosis…
The event is free and open to the public, and as a bonus, the library has purchased a raffle basket from me, so by the end of the event, a lucky winner will get a copy of my breast cancer memoir, Tornado, along with a few handmade goodies — a gnomes tea towel, a bar of my “Telling Stories to the Bees” soap (shea butter scented with honey and wild orange), a little fabric bookmark, and some chili-cayenne chocolates. Fun. 🙂
