Trying the resincrete on two new molds — gingko leaf trinket tray and soap dish. For the tray, I’m trying two colors — I poured white first, and then when it wasn’t quite set, added a layer of blue. I wasn’t sure if it’d bond if I let the white layer completely set — probably?
And if I’d poured one and then immediately the other, I think they’d mix, which is fine, but not what I was going for. We’ll see how it comes out soon — love the fast setting time on the resincrete; you can experiment much faster than with two-part epoxy.
