I want to get better photos of this in the daylight, but I’m getting on a plane early tomorrow morning to go visit George and do a writing retreat in Santa Fe for a week, so I might not get more photos until a week from now. And I LOVE THIS SO MUCH that I wanted to share at least a few photos right away.
It’ll need sanding and polishing, and then a few weeks to cure, but at least on first look, my “Blaze” climbing rose console table came out pretty much exactly as I envisioned.
It’s not really right for our rather scruffy home — but I think it could look stunning with more modern or more intensely romantic home decor. And I think it’d also be terrific in a restaurant or club setting. If only I owned a restaurant I could put it in! 🙂
I’ll probably take it down to Sprout in a few weeks, if no one claims it before then.
