New mold — a rectangular table! I ran out of room on my working table, so I started this one on the floor. Not positive the concrete basement floor is level, though, so I’ll move it up to the table for later layers.
I’m calling this table “Blaze,” because it’s entirely made up of Blaze climbing roses. Next layer will be leaves (and possibly some more petals / roses). Third layer will be imitation gold leaf. Excited to see how it comes out!
No one has claimed this table yet, so unless someone does, I’ll just decide by whim what legs to use. I’m inclined towards gold legs in either coffee table height or console table height. The latter will be a little more, because the longer legs are pricier.
I probably can only do one of this particular table — I’ve used up most of the dried Blaze roses, and they’re fading on the vine, so I’m not sure I can collect more.
