First strawberry harvest. They’re a little softer than supermarket strawberries, and mostly not quite as sweet, but more flavorful. I like eating them while I’m gardening, but I do collect some to bring in for the kids.
Will probably get at least 3-4 pints out of this patch, and it’s a nice groundcover after that. I don’t do anything to it, other than keep it watered as needed. I’m pretty sure I just planted three plants originally — it’s spread!
