I added some native wild geranium a year or two ago, and I’m loving it; will be planting some more little pots of it today. Maybe right under the cafe table wasn’t the best choice of location — it’s okay, I just won’t sit there for a bit. May dig that one up and move it when it’s done blooming. 🙂
The pinks pair really gorgeously with white granny’s bonnet columbines, for those who are designing a mixed native+ garden.
These are all amongst the roses, which are just leafing out still — the columbines will disappear before the roses bloom, but I think the geranium leaves may continue green for a while? We’ll see. It’d be nice if so, to fill in near the lower legs of the roses, which can look a little bare sometimes.
